To view statuses on WhatsApp, you can follow these detailed steps:
- Open the WhatsApp Application: Ensure that your device is connected to the internet and open the WhatsApp application. If you haven't already done so, sign in with your phone number.
- Navigate to the Status Tab: Once you are on the main screen of WhatsApp, look for the "Status" tab at the top left corner of your screen. This is where all the status updates from your contacts will be listed. Click on it to view the statuses.
- Viewing Status Updates: In the Status tab, you will see circular profile pictures of your contacts who have recently updated their status. The profile pictures with a colored ring around them indicate that there is an update available. Tap on any of these profile pictures to view the status update.
- Interacting with Statuses: After tapping on a contact's status, you will see the update displayed at the top of your screen. You can react to the status by tapping on the "Reply" button located at the bottom of the screen. This allows you to send a text message or voice note in response to the status.
- Forwarding Statuses: If you want to share someone else's status with another contact, tap and hold the status update until it is highlighted.
